Ashton looked out the tiny window of her room. Outside the apartment was nothing but sandy-ash type stuff. Wow, she surely missed the view back home. Grass, white picket fence, her garden, everything sweet and homey. Here, there was nothing. And it was kind of depressing. Wow, she needed to get out. She padded back to her dresser, her bunny slippers click-clacking each step. She looked down, she was still in her PJ’s. Short boys shorts on her bottom and a cream tank on her top. What time was it now? Ten? It was the earliest she had gotten ready in days. Skipping over the whole ‘changing clothes part’ she went over to the washroom. Her hair was limp, but okay, still straight from the night before. Ashton added a bit of cover up and mascara and there! She was good. She padded back to her bed and flopped down, maybe something exciting would happen today, well maybe. Maybe she should go out, shopping might do her good. Maybe she should go to someone else’s apartment, chat a bit? Maybe..
Ashton sighed, she could always just stay at home, have a lazy day. Yeah, that’s what she would do. She walked over to her desk and grabbed a book, one she had read almost a thousand times. Not like there was any good book stores in Space. "Why can there be more to do here?" She complained to herself.
