Exodus [Humans] Empty
PostSubject: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptySat Mar 05, 2011 2:12 pm

Kargagna felt an odd sense of deja vu, here he was back at the exact spaceship he had been at a month ago when he had brought the humans to Cooperio Island, only this time, he was taking them off of it. The enormous craft was standing on the boardwalk behind the once lush mountain on Cooperio Island. It lay in the shadow of the mountainous cliff side that had been obliterated for the most part. The uneven strip of land was just about the only place on the island that wasn't a pool of magma. Cooperio Island was no more, as of late. The Protokins had removed him of command of the island, they were planning on turning it into some tourist trap. He had to leave the area with the Protokin Armada almost immediately. With the humans. Ugh... How he hated those creatures. It was even worse that the Varsians are taking such interests in them. The Protokin's had decided to decorate them with honors for defending (and failing at it) Cooperio Island. He had at least managed to delay that ceremony to after this war.

Kargagna glared at the space craft before him. The Protokin's had also refused to get him a better craft than this rental. He wondered if that rental shop had been destroyed in the attack. Speaking of the attack, he had recently heard about the surprise assault on Sigma, though this did nothing but lessen his already bleak mood. His race had fled the scene so quickly, not even attempting to confront the Evoknight's. Humiliating to say the least. Without his command they might as well be a herd of space geese (... :I), startled by every sound. He had managed to message them to return to Sigma to back him up in the battle. Hopefully, they wouldn't be so scared now that they had a full armada at their backs. He shook his head moodily, what fools they were. He would have to whip them back into shape fast, before they became accustomed to showing this much weakness. The lifestyle of floating over Sigma had made them soft. Now it would be the time crush that, and weed out the weaklings. A brand new start.

Game felt boundless energy spreading through him. The rumors he had overheard, or better yet hijacked, from the robots that the surveyed every corner on Cooperio Island Cadet Academy, told him that they were heading back to Sigma. There were so many things he had to look forward at that place and so many things he didn't. For one thing, he had learned of the attack on Sigma, that only meant more battles were coming in the future. That was the worst part. He could hope that it wouldn't be so bad when he arrived, attempt to reassure himself that he would be avenging his parents, that he would find BRS or someone fighting these Evoknights, that Adailia would be perfectly fine. But the dark thoughts still swarmed in his mind. It took almost all of his willpower to keep a smile on his face. He must look insane. Half-covered in scars and bandages, with a smile pasted onto his face for all eternity.

"Hey, Gagna." he said, as he sat criss-cross-apple-sauce'd on a boulder. "When are we leaving?" He stared at the eight foot tall lizard with his head turned to the side. Of course he didn't get an answer, but at least he wasn't yelled at. At least the lizard had grown a little bit of a heart. He must feel appreciative that they had saved his ass. Game looked back at the mine shaft that had been his temporary housing, mine was he so glad to be out of that place. The only bath he had was when he had accidentally fallen in the white pool of water. He shivered when he thought what it might be. And wearing the same clothes every single day didn't exactly turn the ladies on. Why wasn't this a problem for the action heroes in movies? They fought dragons and huge aliens, and came out of it smelling like daisies. He had purposely learned to breathe from his mouth just to avoid the stench of the other humans.

He rolled up the sleeves on his over coat again, wishing he would hit some kind of growth spurt, that seemed impossible. He stared back at the spaceship. He had seen it only twice, and each time he couldn't help but remark on what a hunk of junk it was. And each time, he could feel his mind pulse as if he were feeling the machine's heartbeat. He almost felt like he was one with the machine in front of him, even though he knew it had no consciousness. It only had an on board computer that had a set amount of phrases it could repeat. It was not a person. Did that apply to Robovant too? No... Robovant felt different, familiar, like the brother he had never had, or the father he had lost. Ugh! What was he thinking about? He felt like his mind couldn't cling to a single thought without flying off into some other insane belief.

Loki limped in.

OOC: Yeah... Out of muse.

PostSubject: Re: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptySat Mar 05, 2011 6:08 pm

Entering from stage right came Frenchie herself. My head is killing me! “Kargagna, you ever going to give my glasses back?” Of course by glasses she meant her VIZOR system. She actually looked odd with nothing on her face. She didn’t look so. . .preppy! Still looked really irritated, like she normally was. A burgundy—no wait, that’s blue-gray (She was so worn out from her newly discovered second power all affects of her first power that had altered her body disappeared. Like her eye coloring, for instance)—eye opened to look at the Lizard Man and Game. Game looked overly happy, so much it made her want to puke. “Game,” she grumbled, “I’d have to be dead to make the positive-negative ratio equal.” She placed her back against the boulder and slid to the ground. She sighed, “Anyone have a gun? I need to blow my brains out. . .they hired an acupuncturist.” She might have lost count of what day it was, but it had to be a Monday. Definitely a Monday.

Alice was busy telling her boss how the Legacy had a completely wrecked wing and fried wiring. And since she wasn’t going back to the base, he was busy lecturing her on taking better care of your things, especially the expensive ones.

OOC: Meh. . .mucked it up a lot. . .and messed with Cheryl’s appearance for the umpteenth time

Exodus [Humans] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptySun Mar 06, 2011 5:42 pm

Kenji was brimming with confidence and happiness, leaning beside the charcoal-colored hunk of metal Kargagna called a ship. By absorbing and translating Radio waves, he had overheard the conversation about counterattacking the Evoknights on Sigma. Finally, he would have his revenge for Earth. He would kill the Evoknights until every single one hadn't just perished, but been obliterated. But first, as always, they had to punch through the defenses in space.

He had listened to the radios for a while. There were an estimated eight times as many ships at Sigma than Varsia. Not only that, but signals had been sent to New Exford and they, too, were helping assault Sigma. Albion, with the support of Raven, Roche, and Vinton, were helping the Varsians. Tiber had refused to help. He didn't know what Albion was, or anything else mentioned, but help for them was always good. Killing the Evoknights with all this help would be like walk in the park. He'd be like an underclass hero.

But that wasn't the only reason he was happy. He put his arm around Lobo, the most important person to him in the world. He couldn't remember the last time he was this happy, and he completely refused to allow any thought about the possibility of Lobo being killed on Sigma. They had both made it too far to die in something like that.

Samson winced at the bright sunlight. He had been in the dark caverns for way too long. And all these other humans...Where the hell had they come from? Some of the probably unstable maniacs were even smiling, like they were little kids at a carnival. He examined one nearby. He was a total freak, with seriously screwed up hair, He looked really out-of-place too, wearing a weirdo overcoat that wouldn't look normal anywhere. That combined with his smile just annoyed the hell out of him. "Wipe that idiot smile off your face before I do it for you. You have nothing to look forward to." He said, frowning. With his mind, he manipulating the boulder the boy was sitting on, and made the top half split from the bottom and catapult the boy away from him.

Now he turned to Kargagna. How he hated that alien son of a bitch for abandoning him in the caverns. "Hey lizard, remember me?" He asked irritably. "The guy you just decided to leave in the fuckin' maze to starve and die?" Samson kind of hoped that had been Kargagna's plan, just so he could show the reptile that he had beaten him.

Kenji looked at the newcomer and blinked. He hadn't seen him before, but then again, he hadn't seen most of the others, either. But this guy was different. His clothes for filthy, and one sleeve was being held to the rest of the shirt with what looked like sewn-together plant thorns. What a wussy. Real men didn't sew no matter what the situation, even if he did it with a power. But he had to admit, controlling a rock like that was pretty cool.

OOC: Buncha useless, museless, stupid crap. XI

She felt great, better than she had in a long time. Not perfect, considering the gash on her side, but still pretty damn good. She'd even gotten a medal for getting hurt, which seemed kind of pathetic. It was pretty cool to look at though, with it's gleaming black stones set in a metallic golden border. She fingered the medal, twirling it through her fingers absentmindedly. The appearance of the Varsians had been like a godsend, any longer and she would have died from blood loss. She was lucky that they understood at least basic human anatomy.

She looked towards the ship they'd be boarding soon, the wind teasing her long purple locks. Heh. This was probably eating Kargagna up, having to let the humans go like this. He was getting better than he deserved though. Simply putting them all through this with no real reason, it wasn't right. What about Ronny killing all those people on Sigma? She didn't consider that. Lobo looked to her right when she felt an arm around her, and realizing it was Kenji she kissed him on the cheek. "I missed you," she said, hugging him. Another reason to be happy, she was back with Kenji, and Caleb too, wherever he was. She needed to thank him for saving Kenji like he did, and just seeing him again would be nice. She missed him too after all.

ooc: And then... I didn't do... a single thing in this post. >u>;

It was then that the insect race appeared. They were always curious about new beings and technologies, especially at their intelligence levels and ability to translate. Examining the place, they decided that that this new thing was very interesting. Infact, interesting enough to copy and upgrade efficiently. They could clearly see that the 'vehicle' was quite worthy of replicating and even upgrading quite easily.

Approaching then, they attempted a very special language that all could understand, but none could lie within - The ancient tongue: "Hello, of which language do you actually speak, according to this special tongue? Or do you have a device to translate us?" {The humans should reply 'Solarian'.. if they dont.}

Yang scowled. He wasn't even going to attempt the happy BS Game was trying to pull. He looked a tiny bit unnerved, looking up at the ship. He'd been sort of... Happy? For the last few hours. He felt Yin. She was back. Maybe she'd fled to the other side of the planet. But he knew she was okay and that made him a helluva lot less irritable. The raven-haired boy sighed, anxious to get back to her. He didn't like this place. For obvious reasons. And his leg stung like crap. The moisture and salt in the warm atmosphere hurt a little. He said nothing the whole time. Kargagna didn't need to know a thing of how much Yang hated him except that he did. No smart comment would help anything but make you feel a little better. Maybe get a sword through the throat...

((Useless, museless. Just lettin' you know he ain't dead.))

Exodus [Humans] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptyWed Mar 09, 2011 9:05 pm

Ronny rested in the charred grass, gazing up into the sky. Beams of light flashed, the silent battle above their heads raging indefinitely. He smiled, giddy, or in the least bit happy. The chaos and destruction from moments before acted as if it had ended completely with all conflict solved, but one glance at the strobe sky and it was obvious the fight was unrelenting. However, despite it all he couldn't help, but be happy! They were getting out of this place! Finally! It felt like he was going to be here for years waking up and seeing the same, depressing brown rock walls that made up Cooperio Island. The same ones that he'd been mining and picking through for hours on end before he and the rest of them were thrown into that hellish maze.

The Evoknights were a blessing in disguise.

He couldn't wait to leave and not have to worry or think about this soon-to-be-battle-ash planet. Once he hit his old bed he didn't think he'd be able to wake up for at least a week. It would be great to finally get back into the old role of Sigmian life. While there was always something to do, it somehow made itself a constant matter of stress. Clearly he could see that it was all in his head, a complete complaint from the inevitable but sudden shift of life. Sigma was less than a cakewalk compared to Varsia. It was like... New York on a different planet. Nothing new. Except... He never got the chance to go to New York.

Ronny didn't get Yang and that other kid. Angry and griping. Why? Didn't they know that freedom was just around the corner? They wouldn't have to deal with all this Kargagna crap anymore. It was like they were disappointed to leave--surprising anyone would think that way. He sat up when that brown-haired kid started yelling a thing or two at Game, clearly unhappy with high spirits.

"Aw, look, the cave-boy's angry. You should give him a hug, it'll make him feel better." The voice's mock sympathy came in loud enough to drown out whatever the kid was saying. Ronny frowned, the thought of giving anyone a hug was a thought that didn't deserve to be there. Still, it at least distracted him from the cave-kids unrelenting waves of out-of-the-blue anger.

What in God's name? From the horizon figures approached. Brown skinned with beady eyes and ugly frames. Barely clothes and grotesque. Two legged creatures that didn't need to live. God's prank on the universe. "I think Da Vinci helped with this one." From nowhere a group of shakingly familiar aliens had come. They scared him, their tall forms daunting. Ronny scrambled to his feet, wishing he had some sort of defence. Clad and painted like indian tribes it was obvious that they were primitive, but how? How the hell did they get their way over here? From both the ashes of Earth and Varisa they had somehow survived and speaking languages he didn't understand. Like unintelligible garble.

Giant mutated ants. Holy shit.

-----------

"What?" Cezar stared at the ant-people that stood before them, saying something he didn't understand. Unlike for everyone else, their words didn't register with that second delay like it always did. Instead it went right past. They sounded like five year-old making up their own language. Mixing up random letters and saying they mean something when they didn't. Odd.

This had been a mildly uplifting moment, and now he was not only wary, but disappointed if not fatigued. These alien things that came to them now. Another threat? Yet another obstacle they had to push through and try and conquer? They were so close to getting back to Sigma, and now what? Some freakish, two legged, four-armed race of super ants come and say something. He'd been here so long and it just occurred to him that he never saw the natives. Where here they were, looking ugly and savage. They were probably here to start up some new conflict. Didn't they see the charred land? The fight up above? Did they really have time for this? Obviously they had nothing better to do.

Ugh. He couldn't understand why they were still here. "Cut down the old and pave the way for something new and innovative," that's what his dad always said. So why are these dirt-bathing monstrosities here? Weren't the Varsian's smart enough to get rid of them with all their nice technology? (They had more than ships, right?) They looked like they were here just to cause trouble, a burden to society. How much money did they spend making sure these grass-chewing freaks-of-nature didn't muck everything up and go outside the lines? Obviously they were a waste of time.

Despite it all they somehow found a way to stay here and thrive on the land and sacrifice animals like third world Indians.

"What did it say?" Cezar asked, looking at Kargagna. If anyone would know, it would be him, right? Right. He was a lizard-thing and they were ant-people. Lizards ate ants so they must have had some mutual agreement.

OOC: Edited because I forgot Orin's post. XD

The kydextrians were insulted by the statement he had produced. "We are not the kind of society to be very forgiving. We were planning to improve your potential trash heap of a spaceship into a real craft. But now we will secure it by force. But you have this one last chance to surrender yourselves as slaves, and let us own it the hard way." They said, brandishing their specially crafted neutron spears. They were adapted for stunning purposes, and looked especially deadly. But these kydextrians were clearly well trained for this role.

A bright green frog hopped across the blackened grass, stopping to look up at Nessa. But with a blink, the frog was gone. Ugh... She had the worst migraine she'd ever experienced. It was causing her to hallucinate, it was like she'd turned her fist into a club and beat herself repeatedly over the head with it, which she sort of felt like doing. Maybe death really wouldn't be so bad.

But this time, the thought was really actually lighthearted. It felt good to be away from all the crappiness of the maze and work and everything; they were headed back to Sigma! This made her flop down with a contented sigh, head resting on her folded arms. She tried to push aside the throbbing, constant pain of her headache with the thought of her taking a nice, warm shower and lying in her bed and just... not waking up for a long while. Mm.

a small group of commandos was standing guard around the ship, the commander was napping when he heard the alarm go off and he started awake by the alarm. he took a look at his radar when he snatched up his rifle, roused his men and grabbed the radio from his RTO. "attention, unidentified personnel, this is a restricted area for Military and Varsian government access only. leave the premises now or we will have to use force to remove you" he put the radio back and roused his men to begin moving. the group of commandos were trained in staying hidden and they had a wide assortment of weapons with them: rifles, SMGs, some heavy machine guns, sniper rifles and even a T-7 Rapid Ordinance Weapon with them. if these guys were insurgents than they would have a very ... bad ... day. They surrounded the group and watched as they pulled some sort of spear weapon against the human, the commandos were assigned to protect the ship and the humans that were to board it. the commander snatched the radio again and shouted into it again "you are committing an act of high treason against the Varsian government by aiding in the endeavors of a public enemy. stand down and be identified or we will have to use lethal force. attempt to resist and we will treat you as insurgents of the government and the military, no exceptions! you have ten seconds to comply".he put away the radio and yelled at the human. "hey!! kind sirs!! stop pissing them off and please step out of the firing range"

Yang looked over as some freaky-ant-things made a little mumbling sound. That only served to darken his mood. He was anxious to get back, itching to fight and see how much they'd lost. It hadn't been much of one, but Sigma had been their home for a year now. He wasn't going to take kindly to the invaders. And now these creatures were waving about weapons like five-year-olds. Pfft.

He sighed as Cezar asked Kargagna what those things said. He supposed it was his problem now, too.... He stepped forwards looking at the creatures. He thought he saw sparks and stepped back a tiny step. Hmm. "I think they don't like you, Cezar," he observed in a monotone, turning blank eyes on him.

PostSubject: Re: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptyThu Mar 10, 2011 10:22 am

They had already learned their language, and began speaking in their tongue. "Know this then. We look at your ship with greedy eyes, and how you can be potential slaves. But we serve nobody save ourselves. Further, while we admit we are a fledgeling society, we are not unreasonable in our negotiations. The point is we WILL NOT take no for an answer in developing this spaceship. We do not care the means, only that it gets done, if not improve on it.

If you must know why we are already familiar with such things, its our intelligence. Just look at these spears alone, using advanced energy mechanics. If we are able to make these with relative ease, a small clunker like this would be an easy matter to analyze, develop, and even advance.

So... do we have to do this the easy way, or the hard way? We even offer you the chance at first strike, although we are aware that could be a sign of overconfidence. Further, we call ourselves the 'kydextrians'..."

There appeared to be 5 of them in this patrol, but there was really 10 more. They had noticed the spaceship, and knew that it would be a good prize indeed. It would bring them to the stellar stage in practicly a heartbeat. What better way to spread their influence than to being able to take to the stars? It was clearly the holy grail of exploration, practicly.

Thinking better... the KNEW that they shouldnt oppose either side yet. But in this case, there was an opportunity. The officials of the planet seemed to align themselves with the position of the kydextrians. It was a prime opportunity to strengthen them, so 5 kydextrians approached the officials... and began speaking.

"Hello. It would seem we both want to control them in some way. We call ourselves the kydextrians. You want to keep them from leaving, as we want to secure their spacecraft. How about an alliance to teach those traitors a lesson, then?" They said, eager for a potential beneficial alliance. One even came foreward, and offered a stun spear. "This spear is able to stun things. Its extremely effective. Consider it a gift in proving our intents align with yours presently."

Note: Its strong enough to have stunned those carnesaurs on fandor 2.

Exodus [Humans] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptyThu Mar 10, 2011 3:51 pm

OOC: Don't control your whole race, Orin. FOR THE FIFTEENTH TIME!

Kargagna was intrigued, when he saw the bug people arrive. Saying he was shocked was way overshot. He was just intrigued. There were plenty of species on Varsia, why was it so hard to believe that some had survived the multiple devastating attacks on Varsia that had imploded most of the surface and wiped out almost all of the civilization on the island. Much worse was the fact that Cooperio Island had been cultivated of all animals that lived on it, making sure that not a borrow or inch was not covered. He had never read a report on these strange insectoids. He stared at them, judging by the five of them, he still couldn't guess what they were here for. Certainly they were a patrol, but they were outfitted with weapons. His inquisitive mind urged him to uncover the secrets of this race. But amid chaos of organizing a siege on Sigma, and having exactly five hours to get to the appointed location, he had no time to learn anymore about these creatures.

He didn't open his mouth as they spoke, didn't even acknowledge that he understood them, just listened. When they held out the spear, Kargagna stared it. "I have a schedule to keep." Immediately, he snatched the weapon from the grip of the alien, his body was one big muscle plated in reptilian armor, barely anything could hurt him, and having a robotic left arm did help. He adjusted his grip on the spear and instantly thrust it forward, aiming at the torso of the alien. Whether this hit or not, he would pull the spear away, throwing it like a javelin at the aliens en masse. He wondered if he would even hit one of the ten, but didn't worry about it much. "Get aboard the ship!" he shouted at the humans. He knew they had powers, very destructive powers, but fighting would accomplish nothing more than a huge scuffle. Besides, their powers were huge and flashy, and incredibly grand sized. This small ledge would be destroyed if they dared to fight.

He whipped out his gun, expecting the group of commandos to back him in this short scuffle, or at least annihilate them before they could get any good damage to their precious cargo of humans. And he used the word 'precious' loosely. He aimed precisely, firing five consecutive bursts at the large portions of the aliens body, before retreating towards the craft, he needed to get it off the ground and fast. Where there was a single patrol, there was usually a larger force nearby, waiting for that group to come back. A slaughter here would only provoke them. His clawed feet slammed on the plates of the ships interior as he stomped to the pilots seat. He sheathed his weapon, knowing it only had no more shots in it, and reloading would take too long. He ignored the straps that hung loosely beside him as he slammed his fists into the pilots gauntlets and twisted. Sending the machines engine into overdrive. This was dangerous when riding a junker like this. He could only hope that the purr of the engine didn't turn into a raucous and grating cough.

"I don't remember seein' you ar-AH!" screeched Game as the rock he was sitting on detached it self from the boulder, instantly it became a sled towards the ground below. Unsteadied, Game toppled off of the chunk of rock and hit the rocky hillside rolling. The world spun like the inside of a blender, right before he slammed onto a rock that jutted out from the cliff face. Game groaned wondering what had just happened, and what was causing the ache in his spine. His instant thought was that someone had shoved him off the cliff, but when he heard the whistle of the plummeting stone, Game realized that no one had done that, unless they had shoved the boulder with him. No, it had to be that one kid he didn't know. Must be his power or something. "Asshole..." he grumbled. He pulled himself up to his knees and looked up at the cliff, a fall that had felt like seconds, was much farther than he had suspected. He really wasn't in the mood for climbing this cliff.

But there really wasn't a choice, there was no more metal for him to grab hold of, unless he wanted to rip a plate off of the space craft. Then he heard the sound of gunfire, the ripe scent of plasma opening gashes into the air. The sharp thunk of metal into dirt, and shouting. Great, there was a battle going on. He heard the familiar WUMP appear from nowhere. He knew that sound, had heard it a thousand times and was able to memorize it, differentiating it from a good sign or a bad sign. Definitely a bad sign. The ship as taking off. "DAMN IT!" he yelled, he planted a foot on the cliff, and scurried up it, feeling loose rocks fall away from his grip and gravel sliding beneath his feet. He pulled himself upward gradually, despite his haste. For once in his life he regretted not wasting his time at a gym lifting weights to compensate for lack of a brain- among other things. It was definitely that brown haired kid, somehow he had launched him off of the rock. Super strength? Naw, he hadn't even been touched. Maybe some kind of telekinesis. AGH! Did it even matter? The first thing he was going to do when he saw him was strangle that kid.

Loki looked at the alien creatures, wielding weapons that looked especially deadly, but not all that complex. They were nothing compared to the weapons of todays generation. They looked more like things a child fantasizing about Indians would use. But that didn't mean they weren't menacing. Already, he could feel the tension rising. Even if the aliens were offering the weapon to them, the soldiers that were now surrounding the humans didn't look all to happy with them getting so close. Out of curiosity, Loki surveyed the humans that had survived, he hadn't seen them all in a group like this in a while, and almost instantly he noticed someone was missing. Brown hair, a single white stripe? Game. That kid was going to end up messing everything up, there was a reason they were supposed to stay together. No matter how unlikely it may seem, there were hostiles still around. The Varsian's had done that good of a job protecting them after all.

And then Kargagna, being the rash ignoramus that he was, issued a fight, urging the humans into the ship. Even though Loki knew it was a stupid thing to do, if he put himself in Kargagna's shoes he must likely would have done something similar to that. Without needing another command, Loki moved quickly, but not urgently towards the ship. In a fight he would definitely be the first one to be picked off. He had no powers, and he had a weak leg, that was still being treated. He was safest on the ship, no matter if it looked cowardly. He preferred to think of it as self-preservation. He couldn't run around doing the suicidal acts people like Game or Cheryl did.

Exodus [Humans] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptyThu Mar 10, 2011 4:19 pm

the commander was a little pissed, he didn't care much but a bunch of ants was not getting in the way of his charges and indirectly his paycheck. he yelled out to his soldiers, stealth didn't really matter right now cause all they needed to do was defend the area until the ship lifted off "all units, engage at will, fire zone restrictions have been lifted, defend the ship at all costs" . about 15 commandos stepped out into the clearing and opened up with murderous machine gun fire. lasers and bullets flew everywhere and the T-7 added its own grenades to the cacophony of death and rain of fire. the remaining command group of about 13 (the commander stayed behind with his RTO and a sniper rifle) stepped out with assault rifles, SMGs and a heavy machine gun, sweeping a vast broom of death too and fro, mowing down any in their way, the dead accurate shots of the commander just added icing to the cake. "yah!! thats right, don't mess with us ya freaks of nature!!" screamed one of the soldiers and the remainder began laughing maniacally.

OOC: i'm starting to like this. IRON!! take control of some of the commandos, helps the plot move faster.

OOC: Definitely a mistaken post.... Oh well, I will work with this. Didnt realize that the Varsians controlled the spaceship. As for a whole race, I am not. Its only a greedy patrol of a few kydextrians that saw this... just npcs I am playing. If this works out... I may make a new kydextrian player.

Kenji nearly grinned from ear to ear when Lobo kissed him. "I missed you too, Lobo." He returned both the hug and kiss, making sure he didn't touch Lobo's wound. God, if only he could heal people other than himself. He lightly brushed Lobo's soft hair, and then the moment was interrupted by some sort of commotion. He turned his head to look at some giant bugs that had come out of nowhere. They started talking, and their voice was incredibly annoying. He would have preferred not being able to understand them. And they wanted to take their ship?

Fricken' hell no.

When the insects finally stopped their incessant chatter, big ol' Lizardman threw one of the strange spears at the bugs, then blasted five rounds at them from a gun. He heard an even stranger noise rang out, something he could only guess as a war cry. Freakish little bugs. Kenji wished he could just squish them. But instead, for once, he did what he was told. "C'mon Lobo, lets get the hell out of here." He broke away from the hug and led her to the flying piece of junk's door, making sure to stay between her and the giant buggers. He may not be able to heal her, but he could be a shield.

Samson watched the bugs warily, and acted quickly as conflict broke out. He should have expected it. Where Kargagna goes, killing always follows. He hadn't changed a bit since they last met. Same old killing, same old feeling of being ignored. If the Kydextrians wanted a fight, they could have one. But instead Gaggy ordered everyone into the ship. He would have to make this quick. With one thought, Samson made the ground under the Kydextrians explode violently into gigantic rocky spires. Then he elevated a huge stone wall out of the ground, separating the bugs from everyone else.

Samson started to sprint toward the ship, then stopped abruptly. He couldn't just leave the kid he catapulted off the hill. He walked back toward the edge and looked at the boy for a moment. He smiled and waved, then made the ground catapult the boy right back up the hill. Then he turned and finally boarded Kargagna's ship.

OOC: It's a good thing fail isn't contagious. u_u

Exodus [Humans] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptyThu Mar 10, 2011 6:08 pm

Cheryl was sitting there, minding her own business for once when a loud cracking noise resounded behind her. She jumped up, despite her head’s protest, and stared after the rolling top of the boulder and Game’s tiny frame. She turned her head to look at the new arrival of a boy she hadn’t seen before, who probably did that. +500 respect to him for that one. Then she looked back down at Game. Never mind those brownie points, because who else was going to haul him back up there so they could leave? She gritted her teeth just when some totally annoying and high pitched noises about caused her brains to become suicidal. Slowly, oh so antagonizing slow, she turned to look at the mutant ants that would have been featured in some black and white horror film from the 20th century. Eyes were instantly lit aflame with hatred as they bluntly said they were about to take the hunk o’ metal they were using to get back to Sigma. But before she crushed them like the bugs they were, the Lizard Man got the first strike and the ordered a retreat. She sucked in a deep breath, trying not to just explode in rage. Foot stomp by freakin’ foot stomp she made her way onto the ship. Ignore them and just leave, don’t engage them. She knew she’d probably blow up the ship if she got involved in the scuffle. She turned around and glared daggers at the alien bugs, who were getting attacked by the guards that were assigned to the ship. If those freaks got anywhere near the ship, she would shred them into nonexistence and then hunt down the rest of the species without batting a single eyelash.

“I get it already!” complained the human a ways away from the ship. Her captain snapped, “What did you say?!” Her honey eyes widened. “I said, ‘Sir, understood, sir!’” But before her boss man could reply, gunfire drew away her attention. “I’ll be in touch!” she said before hanging up. She stuck the transmitter back into her pocket before dashing to the ship. There now was a group of. . .bugs? Big, mutant ants, to be precise. Without missing a beat, she jumped onto the nearest one’s head and, just as quick, rocketed herself off it. Straight into the air she went, just showing how much power she put into that. On the way back down, she twisted and turned, being a showoff in a flashy manner. Kargagna was right about some things. She landed on the ground with a thud and a slight crack in the ground. “I’m here!” she announced to the forces, just as she was about to turn around and start tearing the ants apart. But rock spires and walls beat her to it. Her face transitioned from that of a gleeful child to that of a pouty one. Beaten to the punch, in a literal manner. A shadow was cast from above, causing her to look up. Huh, a flying human. Wait. . .nope, that one’s falling. She outstretched her arms and neatly caught the boy in them. She laughed, “Hello there!” With that, she set him down and skipped into the ship.

OOC: *had fun writing this time around* X3

Lobo blushed when Kenji kissed her, and was about to kiss him on the lips when some alien-ant things came on the scene. She turned and frowned at their exoskeleton clad forms. Freaking aliens. All Lobo wanted to do was go back to Sigma and kick some Evoknight tail, but no, these stupid ants had to get in their way. She raised her hand, a ball of light coming to it within an instant. Just as she was about to throw it in the midst of the Kydextrians, she heard Kargagna's voice tell them to get in the ship. Yeah right, she thought, raising her hand again. Interrupted again, this time by Kenji leading her towards she ship, with himself between her and the battle. Fine. She'd back down for him. She wasn't used to being protected, it made her feel uncomfortable. But it was a nice gesture, and she appreciated that. Trying to catch a last glimpse at the fight, she ducked into the ship and sat down on one of the less than comfortable seats. Looking out the dingy porthole, she could see that not all the humans had listened. Game was no where to be seen, and some boy with dark hair was in the fray. She knew that they probably weren't in danger, but she still felt like she should be out there. Hell, she'd like to fight them just to do something, to feel useful again...

ooc: I wanted to make this longer, I really did. ._.

PostSubject: Re: Exodus [Humans]   Exodus [Humans] EmptyThu Mar 10, 2011 7:32 pm

One would think that the kydextrians would preferr to negotiate instead of attack in the first place, but when the people clearly didnt trust them, and had only the desire to leave or attack, it was apparent the only option was force. Even their very posture demanded that the only option was indeed force. But at least they were prepared for any actions the humans would pull, unlike the forces that had just arrived in the first place.

The explosions caught them off guard, but thanks to their incredible strength, only 1 kydextrian died, and the others were only wounded slightly. The shots, while expected, still almost penetrated the shields they had, but they managed to activate them just in time. But oddly enough, while they had developed energy spears, they had not developed communications. This was due to how quickly they had to react to the presences that were already emerging on their main turfs in the first place.

To counfound the problems, they had barely made 200 energy spears in the first place. But at least the other's forces there had greatly underestimated them. They intentionally looked crude, if not tribal in nature, to decieve them into thinking that they were a very primitive species indeed. The plan had worked perfectly, and it showed. And now they would pay in spades for not being reasonable in their negotiations. Admittedly ultimatums, but it was still diplomacy, and negotiable.

The first team was to reach the enterance before them. An easy task. Infact, they were already on it. Rampaging thru the rocks like a knife to butter, then using their spears to summersault over the forces, they barely managed to reach the enterance of the spaceship before them. Then, they jabbed the spears down, sending a 3 foot paralyzing wave at the humans.

The second team, seeing how the planetary officials didnt respond, were insulted. But at least they were not in the line of fire. "Fine, dont negotiate. Its clear you were indigenous before us, and deserves the respect due to our situaiton, but with that attitude, there is no way we will make any solid agreements either. Dont bother coming to us. We will come to you if something emerges. Its bad enough we have to share the same planet..." they said, positioning themselves for aversion, yet action involving this area.

The third team... Shrugged it off, and left... There was little they could do. However, they watched the battle from afar, staying just in range to react if something happened... Further, a lone kydextrian approached with radio units, short range, and gave one to each of the five units. They were to observe and report unless indicated.

Yang stared at the chaos with one black brow raised. Who knew a mutated ant would have a stun gun? Or know how to use one? Space was too confusing... When Karagagna ordered everyone to get on the ship, he scowled. He hated taking orders... Especially from Lizard-Man who'd not only tried to enslave them, but kill them on more than one occasion.

However. This looked fairly bad... He didn't think he could do much with his leg, despite the fact that he'd seared the wound closed. There was some tissue damage... Nerve damage... Even thinking about it made his toes go numb. Yang sighed and half-limped half-jogged over to the ship, masking the pain that shot up his leg with every step well.

Didn't like him? "Yang, why wouldn't they like me? I'm charming." Cezar grinned. His smile faded, catching a glimpse of Kargagna attacking the ant people and then shouting for them to get onto the ship just as the battle began to start. Why did he do that? With the threat of being laser speared Cezar was fast to get on the ship, taking cover from the door. Getting in he strapped himself down or whatever you did on one of these things, urging it to get them out of there.

----

It was confusing, seeing everyone attacking each other and being thrown off cliffs. Who knew what was going on! All he knew was that ants came and Kargagna did the first thing anyone with an ant infestation would do: Try and kill one. Obviously the ants didn't take to it too well.

Ronny didn't get what all the urgency was about. They were ants so what? What were they going to do so bad? Hardly a thing. Big or not, ants were nothing. He could take them on and take them out without a problem! Everyone, however, was leaving and the ship was already starting up. He wasn't going to be left behind on this planet with a bunch of ants!

He got on the ship, reluctant to be on the flying death-trap, but too disinclined to be on or near Varsia to argue.

Kenji walked into the cabin of the crapship and flopped down into the chair closest to the pilot's seat. Then he stretched and put his other feet on the opposite chair. He tried to relax, but god, he hated crazy flying. And it didn't look like lizardman was a good flierdude. Even the best pilot in the whole universe would probably have trouble flying this piece of junk.

Samson sat at the very back, hoping all was hunky-dory with the kid he had catapulted around not once, but twice. Heheh.
