Just as Dostaria was about to throw the girl a very witty reply, she was knocked onto her back by a huge shock wave from the interior of Weavon. Grumbling, she got back to her feet, only to nearly be hit by a spear from seemingly nowhere. She jumped ungracefully back onto the ground, narrowly avoiding the mystery projectile. Dusting herself off, she looked to the thing that had just emerged from the ground, much like a zombie. Katesan was very near it. She didn't really want to save Katesan all that much, but he was their 'friend', and without him they'd never get home. The girl and her friend were the least of her worries now, her full attention was on the 'zombie', although it looked more like a human now. What was with all these aggressive humans here? Perhaps it had something to do with the high amount of radiation on Weavon. She hoped not, she didn't want to become insane like the others, if that's what they were. Back to the matter at hand. Dostaria drew in some of the heat from around her to make a spear, much like the one she had just avoided, except this was made of crackling bright red energy. Without much thought, she launched it at the earth-man. He was obviously hostile, no need to talk about it.

Caleb had long since begun ignoring the girl, starting when he turned away from her. But when she kept talking... It was like listening to a bird squawk into a microphone for five hours. She was so annoying! He turned his head for a moment, to look at the girl with a sigh, about to reply to end this argument. Woosh! He was thankful for the fact that whatever had passed at him wasn't aimed at him, but it had a startling effect. It was a spear. He looked at it with a frown. Was the girl throwing things now? No... It had come from the opposite direction. He wheeled around, and like a phoenix bursting from the ashes of it's body, was the creature before him birthed. Covered in lava and burning brightly. But it seemed to be untouched. "Why do we always attract these freaks!?" he shouted to no one in particular. He glanced at Dostaria, wondering if she was okay with fighting this behemoth of a man.

What he saw was surprisingly amazing. A bright red spear, the staff portion a helix of flames glowing in the firelight of Weavon, in the palm of the girl before him. Demonic in look and design, and certainly deadly. He didn't have to see it in action to know that. It looked impressive, and Caleb wished he had the power to make something like that, not just superspeed that was useless on this rock. He couldn't run here or his feet might turn to puddy, and even if he could run he might inhale too much smoke for his own good and asphyxiate. Caleb watched as Dos hefted the apparently weightless weapon and launched it at the man. Crap! Katesen was still in the way, maybe Dostaria expected him to save the man. If that was the plan, he was already putting it to use. He took a step forward and disappeared, his footsteps fling a trail of ash behind him, as he outran Dostaria's weapon, in fact it moved only an inch per minute at least to him.

In a split second, he slid past the strange man, sliding towards Katesen. Even better than the fact that he had judged the slide correctly was the fact that his clothes seemingly were unaffected by the friction. "Don't move around too much, okay?" Whether he heeded the warning or not, Caleb would latch onto the mans arm, pulling with all his might, and begin to run. Ultimately, landing a ways away from the flying fire spear that would have killed him.

Katesen was sent back like a bag of potato when Caleb rushed at him and knocked him off. Caleb said something he could not register before a flaming spear landed few meters from him. He squeaked a little at the confusion, but he registered everything with the help of his implants and stood up. When he stood up, he saw … a man covered in lava. Yuk. That was disgusting. Then he also registered the spear as Dostria, since it came from her direction. So he pulled out his hyper gun and aimed it the newcomer’s head – so that the hyper space generated by the gun will not hit anyone on the way, for he was a giant- and pulled the triggered. A almost invisible distortion in space was sent out of the gun towards Zealot.

Zealot registered this and groaned. ‘Damn. Advance food,’ he thought as a flaming spear passed by him harmlessly. Then he turned around when he heard some footsteps and he saw... hyper gun. He looked at it and duck as quick as possible. The hyper space missed him by an inch but that was enough for him to draw out another four spear from the atmosphere. “If food is annoying,” he said as he made four spears at once, all of their spearheads big as a human skull. “It ain’t fun eating!” he shouted as he threw them at Dostria, Caleb, Katesen and Coby.

Cody frowned. These humans were annoying and very, very confusing... Her sanity deteriorated as a spear came flying at her. "Thomas!" she shouted, dropping to her hands and knees. Her skin burned but she didn't seem to mind. "Cave! Now!" In the cave, he'd be safe. She looked up at Zealot, then ducked behind the boulder, feeling the arrow go by just a few meters away. Then she crouched, picking up a long, thin rock with a sharp tip. She had an image of the beast in her mind-humanoid, speckled with small chunks of lava. Her memory, however broken, was photographic, so it came in handy here.

She started her attack. From the moment the alien's eyes met her's, she'd had it under attack. She drew the image in the soil, making sure to place a stone nearby for soul deposition in a few moments. This, surely, would be enough. To slow it down, at least. She would lock away Zealot's soul in the stone, which was sturdier than she'd like, if the attack hit. After a moment she stepped back, admiring the almost identical picture replication of the creature. The stone started to glow, pulsating and leaking dark blue energy into the scarred earth, making the image glow. She directed her thoughts to the alien, peeking around the boulder and placing two fingers on the diagram. If he'd look up, if he met her eyes... Then he'd be caught and as good as dead.

Thomas flinched when Cody yelled at him, not being one too used to being yelled at and ran towards the cave almost immediately, but out of a series of unfortunate events, another one of those pesky spears landed in front of him, nearly searing his scalp off and scaring him out of his pants. If he had a full bladder he would have peed himself just about now. He staggered back, shock gripping him from the near-hit. Going into the cave hardly registered in his mind ad he fell back on his bum, wide-eyed at the sight in front of him. He was afraid... terrified to get back up again. What if those crazies threw something else at him?

Using what little sense he had he decided to crawl, and quickly to the cave, his hands and knees guiding him the opening. He panted when he got on the inside, heart racing and knees scrapped from the burning sand. He got up and in an instant, imagining bombs being thrown at him, even when out of sight, he ran to the back, hoping that he could get out of this with his fingers still wiggling. Out of his momentary hysteria he turned at the first opportunity instead of heading straight down to the base of the cave where they called home. In his frantic state he hardly thought about where he was going, running through opening that were illuminated by the rarity of an underground spring and others as dark as night. And when he finally stopped after a number of twists in turns it occurred to him that this was no familiar spot. In fact, he'd traveled to some new world.

He looked around, fear creeping up on him. Without two thoughts worth a debate he turned himself around, running back and hopefully finding the light and good ol' Cody again.

Dostaria rolled to the left, then to the right dodging the spears. As the third one came she leaped straight into the air, safely out of the way. What she didn't count on was the fourth spear. It would have went straight through her skull, but she moved just out of the way. She didn't escape it completely though, the tip of the spear head grazed her shoulder. Dostaria screamed, but was still on her feet. She uttered a curse as blood soaked the ground beneath her. Tears sprung to her eyes, but she fought them back. The only thing crying would do was impede her vision. Her hand lifted to the wound, even the slightest touch was agonizing. It was a cut, not wide, but very deep. She gulped. A couple more inches and she would have been armless. Dizzily, she focused her attention back on the battle. Knowing that her spear had done no good, she tried something different. Perhaps what she'd done to the troop of Evoknights back on Sigma would be more effective. Clutching her shoulder, she again drew energy from her surroundings. A peculiar effect set in on the space around her. Lava ran cold across the earth near her. This time, she made sure that no one was in harm's path before she loosed a beam of energy at the lava-man. Dostaria fell to her knees to tend her wound, she had to stop the bleeding somehow. Panic had taken away her knowledge of all things medical.

Caleb looked back at the lava-man. He had the same speech patterns as Cody and Thomas, relatives perhaps? Except, he was talking about food, were humans this guys food? It was possibility that he didn't want to acknowledge. A scream cut through his thoughts, one that was hoarse and overladen with pain. He looked around, it sure wasn't Katesen or that weird cave boy, or even that girl. No... That only left Dostaria. She was fine, he repeatedly told himself. She already looked like she was healing herself which took all fear away from him, now, all he felt the need to do was stop this man. He got to his knees, panting exhaustedly, and glanced at Katesen watching as he shot a gun, though it seemed to be futile as the man ducked and launched more spears. Crap... Caleb entered slow-time almost instantly, stepping out of time and watching the spear go toward him. Superspeed was nice. It was very, very nice.

The spear disappeared from vision, as did Caleb, as he spun in a half-circle holding the end of the spear and gripping it with all of his might, the weight of the weapon was enormous and difficult to carry, even in slow time when things seemed to be weightless. At the end of his twirl he tossed the weapon. It moved faster than any human eye could register as it sailed towards the lava man. Caleb looked down, noticing the weapon that he had stuck inside of his belt. That... Gun thing. Caleb plucked it from it's holster, entering slow time yet again and aiming at the spears that were still headed for Katesen, Cody and Thomas. Clicking the trigger he destroyed each, it was easy to hit targets when they didn't move. "Wow, this thing is pretty cool!" said Caleb with a smirk. But, there was business to attend too, protecting Dostaria for one thing. In a flash he was in front of her having dodged the strange red spears that she kept throwing at the demon.

Now, standing between her and the Goliath of a man, he raised the gun and aimed at the man. "Eat... Not lead, but whatever these things have!" he shouted, clicking the trigger randomly and trying to aim at the meatiest portion of the man, which was just about anywhere. His head would be a good place, if not for the nasty clean up afterward.

Zealot saw that this animal had some weapons. Augh, more advancement. There weren’t any good decent animals out there like the old days, he thought as Caleb said something to him and fired. This time, he didn’t dodge. Instead, he used his power to throw up a wall from the ground. Then he quickly made three pair of neutrino wings and used them to fly up and above the wall as the hyper space produced by the guns hit the wall and made several dents. Then he stood up top of it and put his hand up into the sky. He hasn’t seen anyone’s face yet, there were some dirt and lava still in his eyes, making his eyes seem like it glowed. But he could feel the molecular vibrations they made with each step. One of them …. He had superpower regarding speed. That was one hell of a nice one, because it was so annoying!… Black Hole… Zealot smiled deviously for a moment before four orbs appeared around him.

Katesen did not dodged that spear; the spear had cut through his left side, leaving a huge hole behind. And the size of the hole was big enough to shove a fist in it without touching him. He groaned as he tried to stay up. That spear took a lot of chunk of flesh and blood was flooding out of him. “At least, I can still get a new body,” he said as he pressed a implant on the back of his neck. The implant spit neurotoxin into his brain and took a scan of his brain and sent it to his ship.

In Katesen’s carrier, a clone pod came to life after it received a scan of Katesen’s brain and opened up. And there he was. A brand new body. Nude and covered in thick neuroembryonic fluid. Yuk.

Zealot heard the thud behind him as Katesen’s body slumped over and died. He grinned as he wiped off the rest of the dirt and lava off his eyes and placed a black hole around him. Then he made few more and sent them out into the area. “Let’s role with Black Coffin! It’s frozen limps for tonight!” he shouted as the entire area went pitch black, devoid of any kind of light.

Cody felt everything go black. Not just sight. There was a blanket covering her, it seemed. Her ears could hear nothing, only a muffled thudding of her own heart. She smelled nothing, not even the horrid smell of sulfur she'd come to love over the last months. She couldn't even feel anything. Her body was numb, with small, electric tingles of cold starting to seep through.

Instantly, her heart started beating on overdrive. She was still in a crouched position, like she'd been just moments before, but it was like she couldn't tell, seeing as she couldn't feel it. She opened her mouth unknowingly and screamed a soundless cry, though she couldn't even tell she did that.

Dostaria looked in horror at Katesans's dead body. She and Caleb would be stuck here forever. An intense feeling of dread tore through her. Then she remembered; Kat wasn't really dead. She couldn't remember the term for exactly what he was, but it had something to do with conscious transferals and cloning. I wish I had a clone waiting for me back in the ship. She looked towards her shoulder. It was probably nice to be able to disregard personal injury like that.

Then, out of nowhere the world went pitch black and soundless. At first she wondered if she were dead, but she doubted hell would be this pleasant. She stumbled around, trying to find a way out. All but the most primal of intelligence had abandoned her. She screamed for help. Was she blind? She was beyond confused. The only thing she could feel was her heart knocking against her ribs. Her breath quickened. She tried in vain to use her power, to shed some light on this world of darkness. But she failed. "Caleb?" She said aloud, but no sound could be heard.

Caleb looked as his assault was completely useless, this man could create something out of nothing. Obvious from the way he made the wings and the wall. God... How could he defeat someone who was basically God. There had to be a way... That's when everything went black. Caleb gasped, wondering if death had arrived quicker than he thought it would. But no... He still felt cold, he still felt exhaustion. He was alive... For now. His eyes had been locked onto the mans last location and he stared at that point. Somehow, he had turned off all the lights, all the heat. He didn't know how, but Caleb knew it was time to put an end to this man. But what about Dostaria? He had to get her out of here. She was just behind him, he knew that. But he couldn't hear her, he opened his mouth and received nothing as a reply. He screamed, and nothing came to him. Some how this darkness blocked out sound as well. Gah! He hated it in this bubble, it felt like he was cut off from the rest of the world.

It's so cold... It's so cold... he whispered in his mind, he closed his eyes, thinking for a moment. It was time to act and be the hero he knew he was. He entered hyperspeed. He materialized, his atoms vibrating wildly in front of the man, his mouth opened in mid-growl though the roar was inaudible. He drew back his fist in the absolute silence. His arm seemed to multiply as it vibrated as well. He screamed one word, though what it was exactly would never be heard, maybe it was a curse, maybe it was a battle cry. But it didn't matter, as an intangible fist sailed at the speed of sound at the man. Caleb felt rage now, his fist would sail through the giant of a man before he knew what would happen. If he could stop an invisible and intangible boy that was built on shoving his hand through the giants chest, then he'd be safe. If he couldn't do it, Caleb's arm would materialize within the mans chest. Bonded with it at least up to Caleb's elbow.

Thomas ran blindly turning this way and that, traveling to where he thought was the way back and possibly a new shortcut from nowhere. In his travel he found more creatures he'd never seen before, some more frightening than others. Other times he found new sights he'd never seen before and surprisingly, places that were cool. Places that had a comfortably chilly temperature that felt so soothing and yet foreign after living in the sun so long. He didn't know how long he ran in his rising panic or how far. It didn't matter, he felt no fatigue. Sometimes he would stop, to keep his own tears from blinding him. Even if he'd only been in there.... Mm... twenty-minutes? He felt like he'd be trapped forever. For a kid like Thomas, twenty-minutes in a fright like that was innumerable hours.


He was thankful that at least some of his path held light. The brightest and the most promising being the one that stood before him now, the end of it looking like solid, open land rather than the blocked darkness of this cave. He pushed himself faster, even if relief started to reveal the status of his tired legs. And... well... he was tired. A new step seemed like a chore, but pure need egged him on. He didn't count how many stone feet it took to get there. Actually... he did. Sixty-two. And on the sixty second step her burst out, face lighted with joy, but it took no second for it to disappear. No one... well... no one was here. Not Cody and those weird humans and their spear-throwing buddies.

But... where were they? "Cody...?" He said helplessly, as if they were all hiding and would jump out like it was a surprise birthday party. As many times as he had forced himself to stop, he really felt like the tears would fall on this one. Whatever pride the young man had, it was dying. He looked up in the darkening sky, the memorized star patterns altered, though not greatly. Where was he? He'd never been here before...

He looked back, noticing the cave was twin to his. Maybe it was some sort of extension. Searching around he saw... nothing at first, but in a more thorough search he saw, behind the cave, a huge ship facing the east. Now whose was that? Thomas was no fool. That was the hand-made ship of Opportunity. As nice as that was, though... he wasn't exactly sure of what to do with it.

Thomas tilted his head, squinting his eyes so he could see farther. It didn't help much. All ti did was confirm it was, in fact, a ship. How was that hunk of junk going to get him back to Cody? And then, before he even finished asking the question a smile came upon his face. Simple. He'd use his wizardly abilities for a more practical use. Not only would it help him find the girl, but... yes, yes... but, they were all being attacked anyways.

Without so much of a though or movement, save for the twitch of his eager face, the ship was instantly under his command. From its far distance, dormant as it may look, its gears and inner workings ticked away like a heart and it's fuel worked like the blood in veins. He didn't have to think for it to already know what he wanted; save Cody.

It rose into the air like a man with a mission (which isn't too bad a comparison), climbing foot upon foot. He didn't know how high it went, but it looked pretty high. Scared as he was of the large ship that turned and began to fly in his direction, he could only hope that it would work and that it was actually working on his power and not by someone else. It's already happened that his power failed like that.

This, however, didn't seem to be the case. When it reached him from its far distance it lowered itself enough for him to climb on; opening up the closest door that would let him get in safely. Thomas marveled the interior as he climbed in, the metallic slam of the door behind him. Like the lab of a comic book villain. As he stared the ship rose again to proper heights and took off into the direction of Cody and those... other ones.

Now on his way, the first thing to do... Find a window.

Katesen groaned as he pushed himself out of the clone pod. Getting used to the new clone body often required hours of work, but he didn’t have that luxury. He had few minutes before that monster finished off his ‘friends’ and having a new friend killed on a new journey that just set foot on never was good. This was not his first time. He ran towards the armory, which was right next to the clone chamber. He flung the door open and stepped in. Both the armory and the clone chamber was cold was hell, just like h remembered. He quickly went for a sniper and then ran as quickly as his new legs would allow him to towards the ‘roof’ of his gigantic carrier. ‘Please don’t die on me!’ he thought as he ran.

Zealot reeled with a squeak when Caleb appeared out of nowhere in front of him and roared some kind of a battle cry. He reeled so much that he fell backward from the narrow and thin wall he was standing on top of. And just a millisecond after he fell a little, Caleb’s arm materialized where his chest was minute ago. Now his shoulder was there. It hurt like hell. The pain was transmitted to his brain where his brain overloaded a little and caused his power around the black holes to cut off. The black holes could no longer sustain itself on its own and all of them exploded in a brilliant light and shockwave.

And whoops went the balance. He and Caleb tipped over.

Katesen reached the top of the carrier with his sniper and his boxers. This place was hotter than he thought it was without his clothes! It was burning! He quickly dismissed the thought and looked for his friends. He laid down on his belly and looked through the scope of his sniper. He found Caleb just in time when Zealot punched his face and fell over the wall, blinding Katesen from targeting him. “Shit!” And then ... the explosion.

Zealot formed another one of his black holes in his hands and forced them to envelope his hand so that it formed a claw-like weapon as he fell. This is all he could do as he and Caleb fell.

Cody felt feeling return to her limbs, moving like a small sonic wave. She suddenly saw a bright light, and pressed herself quickly to the boulder, curling in on herself and making herself as small as possible. The blue crystal around her neck started glowing, filling her with a serene feeling when she really just wanted to suck out that stupid alien's soul and crush it like a bug. Her skin started burning, but she thought it was just the Weavon heat. She barely heard the huge boom as the Black Holes consumed themselves, causing a massive explosion due to the atoms rushing at each other at incomprehensible speeds. Her mind was too focused on Thomas. Where was he? Safe, she hoped. Her mind would totally fail if he were to die.

Suddenly the world returned in a dazzling display of light and color. The shockwave almost knocked Dostaria off of her feet. She blinked rapidly. The sudden, but pleasing brightness made her head throb. She exhaled her held breath. Thank God. Whatever that man had done, it was gone. Relief overtook her, but not for long. She saw that the cave-woman was still there, sitting behind a rock and looking intently at something. Turning from her, she looked for Caleb. He was just here, standing right next to her. "Caleb?" She called, but with no answer. Then she heard a 'Thud!', the sound of Caleb and the man hitting the ground. She rushed towards the sound, a worried expression on her face. It could have been Caleb falling to the ground dead for all she knew. She reached the bottom of a ditch, the ditch where he and the demon tussled. She watched as the man threw up his hand and a clawed black one came down. Using her power, she stopped his arm mid-air. Then she noticed Caleb's arm in his chest. She was horrified and confused all at the same time. She looked at Caleb, then at the man. Several questions entered her mind: How is he supposed to get his arm out of there? Could she kill the man without harming Caleb?

"Cra-." Caleb winced visibly as his arm merged with Zealots. It wasn't quite as painful as he thought it would be, he had aimed for his chest and had gotten a shoulder, still good, as his voice had returned which meant the blackholes were gone. But his arm was fused with another mans. That was bad. And what was worse was the fact that he was falling. Falling down a cliff of jagged and cooled magma. Fear sprung to his brain as every bone in his body told him to brace himself, but with what in such an awkward position. He couldn't move his right arm anymore, it was stuck in the man, and with the way he was falling, it most certainly would break. He looked at the gun that he had holstered a while back. Hating every second of the fall, even before he felt the rocks like needles pierce his skin. The roll was awful.

Imagine having knives of jagged rock jammed into your body, while your arm is stuck inside of a meat grinder. That was how Caleb felt as he fell, he couldn't get his thoughts straight in this jumble of limbs, all he knew was that the cold metal of the hyperspace gun was his only way out. He grabbed it just as he and the mammoth slammed into the ground, Caleb screamed in agony at the familiar crunch of limbs, jolts of pain rocketed his body almost as if he were in an electric chair. Tears sprung to his eyes, he depised the fact that he wasn't one of those tough guys that could just blink them away, and so they flowed out. Like water held behind a dam for too long. Closing his eyes tight, he aimed the gun at his hand, ignoring the voice of Dostaria from far away, and the crunch of rock that meant she was coming down. He pulled the trigger.

Caleb leaped away from the body, falling against the side of the ditch, shivering, not from the cold but fear. Fear of what was going to happen to him. He knew he didn't want to look, he knew he shouldn't look, but he looked anyway. His arm was nothing but a stump twisted and mangled with dried meat hanging off of it like cloth. He closed his eyes, wanting to scream but not having the voice for it. Every nerve on his body was screaming for him. The unfamiliar darkness and lightheadedness of fainting was coming upon him. He turned his head and opened his eyes to see Dostaria, and he opened his mouth to say something. Words that were lost as his eyes closed again, as he slumped over. Dying. The fact that he was, would be obvious to anyone who saw him. Too much blood was being lost.

Zealot grunted when his body hit the ground. Damn, a rip broke. He groaned as he noticed this. He tried to get up but the boy had gotten a hold of that hyper gun. Before he could mutter shit under his breath, the boy shut his eyes and pulled the trigger, successfully cutting his arm off from the boy. And then the boy backed off with tears in his eyes. Zealot watched in silence as the boy fell on the ground and bled as the ground’s heat sizzled and cooked his skin. Even for him, this was a rather gruesome sight. He sat up, feeling nostalgic. This boy… it remained a little of him. He fought for what for survival. Zealot had lied to survive in his home. He pulled a gun to survive. Zealot killed to survive. He sighed as he looked at the bloody stump that was his arm. His passive power was at work already, healing his wounds and forming the foundation of a new arm. He got up as he made another black hole around him, setting the little ball of devouring monster to orbit his head at 10 meters. Then he walked over to the boy as the blood too sizzled. He touched the wound that was created and quickly applied his power to it. The wound slowly closed, and he hoped that it wasn’t painful. Then he made few more black holes and set them around him, and he waited for the girl to come.

Thomas searched the ship more and more, running into the same things five or so times and things like that. Goodness! It was worse than being in the cave! He really wished someone put directions in this. As if they'd all just know. But he couldn't complain, just look.

It felt like an hour, but finally he walked into the room and was at once greeted by the light. Well... hardly any light. Since the last time he'd seen the sun it was coming down now. It was almost at its fullest peak of black, and he knew, just like every hour-long night that the warm temperatures would drop like a waterfall and it would be freezing before they knew it. Just an hour of it thought. It reminded him a lot of Texas, or at least what they said about it. He'd never been there before.

The ship began to slow down and Thomas attempted to see just why, standing on his tip toes and leaning on the control panel--careful of the buttons, mind you. He could hardly see it, but he thought he caught the dark figures of those below. So in all his running and searching he missed the whole trip here? Great. Well, oh well. He got to wear he wanted to be. But what the heck was going on?

Without his asking the ship turned on a light at the bottom of it, illuminating those below. Well, he saw Cody, that was good. And then those others were all bending all close and stuff. Well gee, then. They were friends? Seemed pretty shifty for people who were so nice at the beginning. Then again, they did chuck two spears at him. He looked down, assessing as much as he could. The ship itself aimed one of its many weapons down in that pit, but not it's most advanced.

It didn't fire, however, as if waiting for an okay-go or simply an hostile movement. As far as it was concerned, Cody was save. Those black holes were a good deal suspicious however.

Dostaria ran the rest of the way to Caleb. This was bad. This was a thousand times worse than her tiny scratch. She didn't even feel it anymore, not really anyway. The jagged rocks tumbled from their niche in the ditch wall as she scrambled down. What had that man done? She felt fear for Caleb, but at the some time something else for Zealot. Anger. A growl rose in her throat. "Get away from him," She snarled. She didn't notice that Zealot was in fact helping Caleb, no, she only saw a monster standing above Caleb. The air around her glimmered with something other than heat waves. Dostaria leaped towards the demon man with reckless abandon. He deserved to die for what he did to Caleb, and to her. Besides, he was nothing. Nothing more than a piece of intergalactic scum. A battle cry on her lips, Dostaria whipped out her pistol and aimed it for the man's head. She fired three shots, then started aiming punches at his abdomen. Not regular punches, but energy charged super-powerful ones. Die, die die. The words echoed an endless amount of time in her mind. And hurry up with it too, I have to help Caleb.

Katesen eeked when he felt his ship move on tis own. He knows that he didn't order it to. His crew didn't know how to because they weren't capsuleer so it must be outside force. He put his ears on the floor of the roof of the carrier and listened. His enhanced physical bodies and implants were giving him information on quantum levels. The ship ... it was alive now. And someone made it alive, because he or any other Vendi-Ulis didn't know how to. He groaned as he realized how big this was. His ship wasn't built to be alive, it'll fall apart after a few minutes in flight! "CRAP!" he shouted as he dropped the sniper and ran towards the door. He flung it open and then ran towards the drone bay where there were few organic ships he had made. They were mostly for scouting and etc, but they were big and they came in handy. But without the brain, the brain being him, they couldn't move. The carrier could because it had its own computer core and CPU. "Ugh, the 'humans' are so much trouble."

Zealot watched Dostria come towards him. She said to get away from him and he understood her. He lived 9000 years, he memorized most of the languages out there, including those on new planets. Should he reply in their language or just continue to speak people's? But he didn't have the time to decide because Dostrai jumped from her position to kill. She had energy flowing aggressively in her hands. He smirked. Energy was something he was familiar with, he thought to himself, referring himself in 3rd person as he moved a black hole between him and her. 'This should stop her,' he said. But he was not a man who would just stop there. He liked to have other defenses as well. He quickly forced the nearest black hole to merge with his body while he used his power to keep them at bay from eating him alive. The result was a thin layer of 2nd skin-like armor that would stop most of the attacks from insect bites to small hydrogen bomb. Then he got himself ready to fight back if she succeded in breaking it.

Dostaria was on a collision course for the black hole between her and Zealot. She had been on one of those things before, and wasn't too eager to try it again. If she would have been in that soundless, sightless void for a moment longer she might have gone insane. Being claustrophobic and inside a completely black abyss didn't work too well together. She evaded it with an unfathomably quick step to the left. Thinking at a time like this would be a luxury. Dostaria let her instincts do most of the work here, spend a moment hesitating and she'd be dead. Most likely. It was strange, but somehow she wasn't completely sure of this man's intentions. The moment she'd stopped she realized how tired she was. Every part of her ached. She hadn't even been doing that much, except for using her powers of course. She scowled at the ground. Perhaps she could get out of this by being diplomatic? Probably not. But... she could try, right? Maybe politely telling him to leave would work. Then she noticed the weird shield thing around him, that she thought was made of black hole. Wait, was that even possible? Pondering this for a moment, but still keeping tensed, she asked "Please sir, could you leave me and my friend alone?" She didn't even know if he'd understand her, much less acknowledge whether she said anything.

Zealot saw her stop and back off. He sighed. No need to engage the girl right now, he thought as he looked at the boy. The bleeding had stopped and it seemed like the boy was okay. He looked at Dostria as she said something. He tilted his head to the side. He decided to speak English. “You want me to leave? Then give me something in return,” he said as he gave her a little devious smirk as he let the shield around him form back into a ball before he destroyed it. There was a small explosion that was contained but the shockwave traveled outward, strong enough to knock a child off her or his feet. He looked at her straight into the eyes and the wound. He raised a eyebrow. “How about this. In exchange for a cup of your blood, I’ll let him go,” he said as he gathered up some particles in the air, changed some of the atom’s structures before he made a little cup.

Katesen, on the other hand, had reached the organic ship. It was a Grim Scythe-class support frigate. “The first is the always the best!” he shouted excitedly as he opened the organic door with a whistle. The door opened, he jumped in, sat in the chair as the door closed, and activated all the systems including the dual ion thrusters and shield systems as the roo he was in began to fill up with neuroembroynic fluid. Although the fluid was somewhat toxic to most individuals, it wasn’t to Katesen. It was nothing more of a nutritious substance.

Cody just kind of stared at this, her eyes widening. Whoa. These people were weird. Was Sigma as bad as it was here? She hoped not. It better not be... Better have a school, too. Because Thomas was much more important than her. She was an individual who'd made many, many mistakes in her life. But... Thomas was just a kid. Sure, he'd made mistakes, too. But most of them involved her influence. A kid deserved to live better than a ratty, cave-woman teenager.

Speaking of.... She looked around, looking worried. Where was he...?
