| Deus stepped into the UWUC building, eyes scornful. His escape from death ended here in Sigma, coming to retrieve his files. He'd been no fool. It wasn't wise to make anything without making copies of it and he had, ever single one sent here, by him, to be stored safely in the enormous rang of files. He'd used this place so much that he had old files that only existed in these high security locks. He hadn't visited since he was forty, and he could see that things had changed drastically. It was dirtier, uglier, and power had definitely changed. As he made it a task for himself to keep updated with each planet he visited, it was still an alien concept to step here. He remembered when the snow wasn't black, as much as he'd resented it the first time he touched eyes on it.
The building had become larger than it was previously, and he wondered what had happened to his original works. Had they been kept safely or thrown into the fire, He prayed not. They were his last resource, and of course he paid them to keep it going. As he walked into the building surprised glances went towards him, some staring, others nodding in appreciation or keeping it as a mental picture. It was no day to day sight to see his species, political reasons or not. He didn't recall one of his kind ever being a representative here. They did, however come in and take the documents back for consideration. That was two hundred sixteen years ago.
The the front desk he waited for the secretary to finish his duties before addressing him. "How may I help you?" He said kindly, the phrase sounding slack from overuse.
"I've come to get some things from my locker," he said, using the older term for their advanced safes.
"Number?"
"Two-Six-Seven," he answered, to which the chromakin ahed, making a comment on how that was one of their older chambers, and how surprised he was that there was even someone still using one, or that they even had any left. The age of it seemed to make the process longer, a great deal of time and codes going by as he tried to figure out exactly where it was.
"Ah, here it is," he finally said. "Still remember your code?" Deus nodded and the chromakin beckoned another worker to lead him to the chambers. The trip there gave him his own little tour, seeing this and that, when these were there and when those species were previously unallowed and how they seemed to be numerous now. The doors were, classically, larger than normal, made to accommodate to Gertragians. Not all of them, however. Just specific ones. After corridor and passageway and the pass-bys of these columns and those columns from quintillion to the goddesses face and onward, descending until they got to the two hundreds, an empty hall, lifeless, but large. The cells then were larger and much much cheaper. Luckily, they kept the prices and size.
"Two-Six-Seven," his guide said, showing him his large safe. He thanked the worker before it left, putting in the extensive code, the door opening automatically when it was entered. Inside he saw stacks and stack of metal boxes, all varying inside, all holding a group of files from his work. It was easy to see that since the past the staff had gotten lazier, his newer projects scattered in piles around old stacks. Some ancient towards toppled from the mess. It would take ages to sort through this, to find just want he needed and neaten it again. He growled, staring at the mess.

| Empress Lenina, truly was not feeling the perks of her job. Really, she had all the same freedom she had as a human, but she had to walk everywhere with a valet, a team of bodyguard aliens that never left her side. If she needed to go into a car, she was given a police escort. While this was all nice and pleasant, it got annoying fast. Empress Lenina was not impressed in the slightest, even if the aliens had attempted to roll out the red carpet for her, she felt as if she had no power, her vote seemed to mean nothing at all. And whatever she said was overlooked. There had to be a way for Empress Lenina to get her way, all she had to do was think, and think rather hard at that, it wouldn't be easy to outwit a council of aliens rulers. But this Empress thing wasn't all bad, sure she didn't have an inkling of freedom, but the council robes looked good. A shoulder-to-floor golden cap, while she wore a dress of the same color, her hair in curls.
Another thing that her rank gave her, was power. Not over the council of course, but definitely over the humans. They didn't want to anger their Empress did they. Plus, she had bodyguards posted outside her door. It was impossible to get at her. And what was even better, the most powerful of humans were gone, no one to question her rule. She was so glad she had given Kargagna her list, and that she had sent Echo along with them, as a spy of course, to record anything that happened, it was really just a precaution to send the poison girl along with them. But Empress Lenina liked being prepared for anything and everything. Everything seemed to fall into place, except for that one glaring obstruction in her path of world domination. The UWUC. There had to be a way to make them think she was worthy of her role as Empress Lenina.
Nearly tripping in her step, Empress Lenina was stopped by the scaly hand of one of her bodyguards, a nameless alien who said nothing. She wondered if that was because his tongue was cut out, or did he just not like to say anything. In fact, none of them talked, hopefully not all for the same reason. She had a horrifying image of a bunch of tongues stuck at the body of a crate, wriggling. As she walked through the UWUC building, hunting for one of those... What did the man at the front say? 'Locker'. Why would an Empress need a locker in the first place? The man had said that it was where all of her official duties were outlined, a few release forms, and a stack of paper work to be filled out, mostly concerning the humans, though there were a few minor disturbances on Sigma that she was supposed to work out. Demeaning grunt work. If she still had Echo here, she would have manipulated her into doing it.
She stopped dead in her tracks the moment she turned a corner. It was an alien. Well, two aliens actually. And normally she wouldn't be the least interested in them, had it not been for the fact that the alien was a dog. And not just any dog, (feels like going in circles) but the same dog that had kidnapped Len. Empress Lenina couldn't remember his name at all, but Game bragging about what he had done in Space was enough to give her a decent description of this alien. Whoever he was, he had done an impressive job at stopping the humans from taking Len back, sarcasm noted. But why was he here now, would he attack her since she was a human. The thought made her clench her fists and eyes narrow. "Hello, there." she said, forcing her self into a faux smile, and to personally purge any thoughts of violence off of her body. Even though she was on edge about this creature.

| Deus stopped mid-step, on his way to step into the gigantic safe when he heard someone greet him. He looked to his side, seeing there, looking towards him with a smile was one of those infamous hue-menn. It didn't take long for him to deduce from its build and the way it held itself that it was most likely female. He didn't have a full on time studying the species and when reassessing the look of the one that a burst into his chambers and stolen the human he'd bought, the features looked more feminine in comparison. He labeled her as adolescent, looking too underdeveloped to look somewhat grown. She was probably as naive as newborn barmae.
"What do you want?" He said in an irate tone. He was tired of these humans. He wouldn't have come here if he knew those things bred here. It probably wanted to destroy more of his works. He examined her closer, her dress, labeled with universally known symbols suggested she was of high authority or lineage. A ruler, and being here, probably a place holder of this building. What primitive things. Sending children to make their decisions. The proposition of eradicating the entire species was no new thought. Extreme? He didn't care. There was little of them and it would be easy with them all in one place. It would take one small device. Bomb or otherwise. Maybe even a carefully planned accident. Or hire others to kill them one by one. It wouldn't take much. Eliminate one gender and it was done. He'd decided on the females long ago, just in case they were able to reproduce within other species or by some other means.
He could continue his work and peace then. The thought made him somewhat happier, but nto enoguh to wash away his anger. There would be confusion when he went back to Dormio and the government would once again have to change.
